Epistle to the President

 Dear President Rodrigo Duterte,

The Peace of Christ Risen be with you! I am writing you this letter as a student who wanted to thank you for all the things you have done for our country. To be a President is the most difficult job one can ever have. As chief executive, the President exercises control over all executive departments, bureaus and offices. These could be very tough for you but because of your love for our country, you willingly accepted the challenge.

During your administration, you started the war on drugs. You placed behind bars all drug dealers, traders, and users and made them pay for destroying the future of Filipino youth. You never hesitated to put your plans into actions. Never feared anyone and punished corrupt officials in the government. Your term as President is never easy. You also battled a war where you can’t see your opponents. The Covid-19 pandemic hit and tried your administration the hardest. We are slowly coping, we are slowly winning. What matters here is, you trying so hard to save what can be saved, we just have to do our parts as well.

In conclusion, I am wishing you the best of health. The kind of man in your age shouldn’t be working so hard by now. In the coming 2022 election, I really wish you wouldn’t run anymore for anymore for any position. You have worked so hard and you really deserve a rest. Be safe, be well Mr. President. Thank you very much for all that has been, and for all that will be.

                                                                                                                                                                Respectfully,

Matthew Arranz

  1. You might not know me but I was your old classmate from 2nd grade in St.Paul and I don't know anyone else in your section so I decided to comment on your bloginstead, hahaha. I agree with your statement that our president is a good man even if he had made mistakes and failures. I cannot say that he is the best president but he tried his best to serve us and his country.

  3. I agree with your opinion with the president my guy. Mr. president did a really good job in handling situation real well. However, the war drugs is just a bit overkill from what he did, but overall, he still did a great job toward this country.
